Introduction
After you have been approved through onboarding, navigate to the Helper app to begin requesting Dollys and become familiar with the app.
Dolly highly recommends that you have GPS or location settings turned on while using the Helper app and while working on Dollys. Dolly Support must be able to verify your arrival at a customer's location for all issues that may arise including cancellations, customer no-shows, etc.

Tabs
There are different tabs shown in the Helper app. Experience may slightly differ between iOS and Android apps.

Open Dollys
These are the available Dollys in your specific market. The notification badge on the Open or Dollys tab indicates the number of available or open Dollys waiting for Helpers to be scheduled. These available Dollys are shown by days of the week. Tap on a Dolly to view more details.Requested
You can view all Dollys requested, both in the past and future Dollys. The status of requests that you send to other Helpers, as well as if Dollys requested have been completed, scheduled with another Helper, still open, or if a Dolly was cancelled will be shown.
Scheduled
This tab shows your scheduled or upcoming Dollys. We recommend reviewing this tab often to make sure schedule conflicts don't arise for both you and the customer.
Inbox
Your inbox shows message threads between you, customers, and other Helpers & Hands you are scheduled to complete Dollys with.
Alerts
The alerts menu is displayed in the upper right and shows important notifications about your scheduled Dollys, adjustments, completed Dollys, or other important messages from the Support team.
Main Menu
The main menu is either an ellipsis or hamburger icon depending on iOS or Android.
This menu consists of:

- Preferred list
- Helper stats

- Permits
- Contact Support
Dolly History
- Keep track of completed Dollys and earnings.
- View cancelled Dollys scheduled for.
- Refer to the weekly earnings email for a complete payout information.
Vehicle Settings
- For Helpers, you can add and remove qualified vehicles to your account for approval.
- If you include a trailer, photos need to be uploaded for both the vehicle and trailer separately.
- Vehicle settings are not displayed for a Hand.
Map View
- A map of Dollys that are available in a market are shown.
- Show the estimated route of a Dolly.
- Tap on an open Dolly to view more information and details.
- To access the map view, tap the map view button at the top of the screen.
Notification Settings
- Turn notifications on or off by the day of the week.
- Disabling notifications during the work week is also an option.

Adjust the mile radius of Dollys.
- Push Notifications is how you are notified of alerts. To receive notifications, make sure that this option is selected. You can also Send Test Push Notification to confirm your notification settings. We recommend checking device settings. Note that if your phone settings are not set to receive notifications, the test may not complete.
Preferred List
- You can add and remove Helpers & Hands from your preferred list.
- Only Helpers in you current market are displayed.
Your Stats
- Shows the number of Dollys requested, scheduled, relisted, and completed between 7 to 90 days. To obtain an extended view of Dolly and payout history, you can login to your account on a PC or Mac through helpers.dolly.com
Helper Resources
- Articles that have information regarding standards, expectations, and procedures as a Helper & Hand. These also include how to use the Helper app, the payout schedule, how adjustments are processed and more!
Permits
- Some markets require specific permits to be displayed on vehicles for Dollys. This is mostly for specific State requirements or emergency use if requested by the authorities or law enforcement.
