Dolly does not insure or provide insurance to platform users, as Helpers & Hands are independent contractors and not employees of Dolly.
Dolly is committed to facilitating a best-in-class experience for our Customers through the services provided by Helpers & Hands and wants to keep everyone safe and all items secure throughout. While we know Helpers & Hands have a “can-do” attitude, there are certain items that Helpers & Hands should not move. For more information on these, please review the Prohibited Items & Processes article.
Additionally, as part of the Helper & Hand User Agreement, Users agree to maintain any and all valid insurance appropriate for the Services.
That said, Dolly wants Users to be happy about their experience and will do what we can to support our Helpers & Hands. Users are encouraged to review this informational article and reach out to Dolly support for any additional issues or concerns.
Please note: Occupational accident insurance coverage is available for injuries prior to July 1, 2025. Helpers and Hands can still report accidents that occurred before then. Additionally, for Helpers and Hands in Washington State, workers' compensation coverage is available for independent contractors in certain circumstances.
