Dolly is a platform that enables Helpers & Hands to build a delivery business on their terms. We want your business to be as successful as possible! To assist you with getting started, we’ve compiled the following advice for a more seamless experience:

Recommendations:

  • Be flexible with your schedule. Greater availability = greater chances of booking Dollys
  • Only request Dollys that you know you can complete (duration, vehicle needed, distance, etc.)
  • Be communicative with the Customer through the app
  • Review the Helper Expectations article prior to starting a Dolly
  • Arrive on time
  • Keep your vehicle in good condition (Helpers only)
  • Handle all items and locations with care
  • Have the recommended equipment
  • Photo document items on your arrival and drop-off as best as possible (this helps with adjustments, damages, missing item reports, etc.)
  • If you do need to contact Support, use the feature in the Helper app versus emailing a specific support email address (inboxes are not monitored & requests won't be received)

Tips for Things to Avoid:

  • Calling Customer Support to request a Dolly, as Dolly support agents are unable to assign you to a Dolly (use the Helper app instead - Apple or Google)
  • Relisting a Dolly unless absolutely necessary
  • Asking Customers to pay extra or off-platform
  • Moving more items than originally booked without an approved adjustment first (follow the Adjustment process found here)
  • Marking a job as complete without successfully moving all of the items included
