What is Occupational Accident Insurance?
Occupational accident insurance (OAI) helps protect independent contractors who are injured as a result of a covered accident while completing a Dolly. OAI coverage can assist with medical bills, death benefits, and certain lost wages.
Who is covered under OAI?
Outside California, as of June 1, 2021 OAI coverage is available to Helpers & Hands who are approved and active on Dolly's platform and completing Dollys.
Within California, OAI coverage is only available to Helpers whose Dollys originate in California.
How do I enroll for OAI?
No enrollment is required. If you are active on Dolly's platform and completing Dollys, you are eligible.
How Do I Report an Occupational Accident Claim?
If you are injured on a Dolly, you will need to report a claim with Intact immediately.
To file a claim, you will need to call the Intact Claims Center at 1 (877) 441-6274.
Be prepared with the following information:
Outside California
- Dolly’s Policy Number: 216-002-671

Your phone number, email address, and vehicle license plate number
Within California
- Dolly’s Policy Number: 216-002-641
- Your phone number, email address, and vehicle license plate number

Once you file a claim, an Intact claims adjuster will guide you through the process.
What does OAI cover?
If you are injured as a result of a covered accident while completing a Dolly, you may be eligible for the following benefits:
Outside California
- Accident medical expense
- Temporary total disability benefits
- Continuous total disability benefits
- Accidental death benefits
- Survivor’s benefit
Within California
- Accident medical expense
- Temporary total disability benefits
- Accidental death benefits
- Burial expense benefit
Does OAI cover third party injuries or property damage(s)?
No. OAI does not cover any injuries for a third party or property damage(s).
