Exciting news! Helpers and Hands will have access to a wide breadth of Dollys with our new partner, IKEA! Build your business today through becoming a partner of the IKEA in your market. Before you hop onto IKEA Dollys, here are some need to knows.
Types of Items

Appliances: Larger devices and equipment that are plugged in including: washing machines, dishwashers, dryers, televisions, refrigerators.
- Note: that refrigerators cannot be put on their sides, if you cannot put it in your vehicle upright, you'll not be able to complete the Dolly and get compensated.

- Flat Packs: Packable and easily transportable IKEA products that can be fit into most vehicles.
- Assembled items: Products purchased from IKEA's as-is items area. Usually these items have minor aesthetic damage. Typically these products are not packaged so you'll need to handle them with extra care.
Expectations
Helpers and Hands are expected to:
Professionalism

Wear a clean, solid colored shirt
- Graphic Tees, Gym Shorts, Ripped Clothing are not permitted

Wear closed toed shoes
- Unsafe shoes (i.e. open toed shoes) are not permitted

Bring a serviceable and professional vehicle
- Vehicles should be free of graffiti, rust and should be relatively presentable
Preparation

Have the right equipment to be ready for any condition
- Tarps: used to keep your flatbed dry
- Straps: used to secure contents in your vehicle
- Moving Blankets: used to protect your delivery contents from damage
Being professional and prepared is the key to maintaining the trust and satisfaction.
If you are not found to be appropriately professional or prepared to IKEA's expectations, you may be rejected and will not be compensated for the Dolly.
IKEA Specific Reminders
In addition to the normal steps when on a Dolly, IKEA Dollys will require the following items:
1. When arriving to IKEA please pull into the "Click and Collect" area. There will be signs either on the far left or far right of the entrance guiding you to the area. It is expected that your full team will be present at the designated spot (if you have a team).
2. Use IKEA's system, Waitwhile to let the Customer and the IKEA team know that you're picking up the product. Please provide
- The customer's name
- Order number
- The parking spot number
- Your phone number.
3. When picking up the order, there will be an IKEA License Plate, which is used to help track the delivery. Please ensure that you fill out the Dolly section of the form and provide the applicable information.
4. Once you have filled out the form, please upload the photo to the Dolly app to confirm the pickup. You must click the menu and add a photo and check off sending these photos to Dolly Support before clicking save. If you don't check the box the license plate will not reach the Dolly team and we cannot mark the Dolly as completed.
5. Once you complete your delivery, please select stop at the bottom of the screen. You'll be required to take a photo of the delivered items as proof. You'll then have the opportunity to leave a review.
